The Astoria School of Ballet was founded by Margaret Wall in June 2004 and is already recognized as the premier ballet school on the North Coast. Dancers feel at home at ASB in a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere that encourages fun and learning. It is a place where, no matter your reasons for taking ballet, you will experience excellence.

With more professional ballet experience than any other local teacher, Ms. Wall has raised the standard of the area's dance scene, and teaches higher quality ballet classes for all ages and levels. At the Astoria School of Ballet, small class sizes allow each dancer the personal attention he or she requires, and class lengths are adequate for comprehensive study. Students from ASB have attended summer intensives at some of the best ballet schools in the country including American Ballet Theatre, The Houston Ballet Academy, The Joffrey Ballet School, The School at Oregon Ballet Theatre, and Jacob's Pillow.

The Astoria School of Ballet puts on an annual performance each spring showcasing the talents and accomplishments of each student. Our goal at ASB is to provide quality ballet training in an environment that promotes a genuine appreciation for the art, physical strength, concentration, self-discipline, music awareness, and poise, with emphasis placed on the self-assurance and joy that comes with personal progress.
